Neuroscience-Driven Approaches to Understanding Trauma, Enhancing Resilience, and Building Communities
Emily Sewart, M.Ed, AEN is passionate about helping children, educators, communities, and families thrive. With a Master’s in Education specializing in Trauma and Resilience and a graduate certification in Applied Educational Neuroscience in Trauma and Adversity, she brings deep expertise in how trauma and the stress response affect learning and development. For over a decade, Emily has partnered with educators, families, non-profit, mental health, and community organizations to turn research into practical, compassionate strategies that explain not just the why of trauma, but the how. She believes every person in every role deserves to feel safe, understood, and empowered through trauma-informed practices—and works to create environments where both children and adults can grow and succeed.
